When Justin and Marc, a Dutch couple, chose Tuscany for their wedding, they found the perfect setting for their celebration. The golden sun bathed the rolling hills in warm light as friends and family from around the world gathered to witness this beautiful union. The joy was palpable, the love undeniable, and the atmosphere absolutely magical.

The ceremony was deeply emotional. Justin and Marc exchanged their vows under the vast Tuscan sky, surrounded by their loved ones. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for: as they sealed their vows with their first kiss as a married couple, the sky erupted in a spectacular display of colorful smoke! The explosion of color was met with applause, cheers, and tears of joy. A moment of pure, authentic happiness.

Under the Tuscan stars, the celebration was spectacular. Friends and family danced, laughed, and celebrated the newlyweds. The bouquet toss was caught with enthusiasm, adding a touch of tradition to the evening.

This wedding wasn't just an event—it was a testament to love and the beauty of bringing people together to celebrate life's most precious moments. As the sun set over the hills that evening, it marked the beginning of a beautiful journey for Justin and Marc. For everyone who witnessed their love story unfold in that magical place, the memory will remain forever in their hearts.

This year, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful wedding at Tenuta Mocajo — a charming venue surrounded by the Tuscan countryside near Bibbona, with views that fade into olive trees and rolling hills.

The couple chose this place for its warmth and authenticity. Everything felt simple, elegant, and full of life. The gardens were in full bloom, but what really caught my attention was the way they looked at each other. From the very beginning, I knew that’s where their story would start — in those glances, in the laughter, in the small gestures that speak louder than any pose.

During the ceremony, under an arch covered with flowers, the emotion was tangible. Guests watched with genuine smiles, and I moved quietly, letting things unfold naturally. Every click told a little story — a soft touch, a tear, a burst of laughter breaking the tension.

The reception took place outdoors, surrounded by string lights, the smell of good food, and cheerful conversations. I photographed a few details — the flowers, the table setting, the glasses clinking — but my favorite images always come from spontaneous moments: a child running on the grass, friends hugging, a couple dancing, completely lost in the moment.

As the sun began to set, the light turned golden, almost liquid. I invited them to walk among the olive trees, to look at each other, to talk. No poses were needed. For a few minutes, everything was just perfect — the breeze, the light, the quiet way they connected.

At the end of the day, as I packed my camera, I found myself smiling. It had been a simple, genuine wedding — warm and full of heart. Tenuta Mocajo was the perfect backdrop, but the real beauty was all in them.

We explored some of the city's most iconic spots, from the timeless beauty of Ponte Vecchio to the majestic Piazza della Signoria. The weather was typically spring-like: changing skies, soft light, a bit of sunshine... and no rain! Just the kind of light I love to photograph.

Photographing in Florence is always a creative challenge — the city is full of life, tourists, and constantly changing light. But that's exactly what makes it so stimulating. Each time it inspires me to stay creative and fresh.

The session was relaxed, spontaneous, full of authentic moments — exactly how I like it. The joy and emotion in their eyes told everything about their connection and what awaits them. Telling stories like Sophia and Antony's is why I love my work so much. Each couple brings their uniqueness to this ancient city, and together we create something new, genuine, and exciting.

At the 2025 edition of Way Up North, held in Tuscany, I submitted a photo for the very first time. And to my surprise, I won the award for Best Group Photo.

It might sound strange, because group photos aren't really my thing. I'm more about capturing natural, spontaneous moments than asking people to stand still and smile. But on that wedding day in Berlin, the non-stop rain forced me to rethink everything.

There was no chance of doing the traditional "everyone in a line" shot. So I improvised. I looked for a way to bring people together in the moment, despite the weather, and tried to create something real. The result? A very unconventional group photo — and apparently, the judges agreed.

The true magic of a destination wedding in Italy lies in its authenticity, its freedom, and the way it allows love to be felt in its purest form.

From the warm golden light of the Tuscan sunset  to the rustic elegance of the venue, every detail reflected their deep connection and unique energy. Britt and Berend’s radiant smiles, the joy of their guests , and the countless emotional moments made this wedding a true story of love and intimacy .

In my photography, almost nothing is left to chance. Capturing moments like these is what makes my work so special—perfect light and the unique charm of Florence.

This couple came all the way from the USA to celebrate their love in the heart of Tuscany. After the ceremony, we walked through the streets of Florence, letting them enjoy their first moments as newlyweds while I captured their connection naturally.

Florence is always full of tourists, and while that can make it tricky to find clean compositions, the mood of the city totally wins you over—giving you spontaneous, lively images full of charm and authenticity.

Letting the couple stay in their own world while choosing the perfect location doesn’t make the moment any less spontaneous—quite the opposite! The right setting enhances the emotion naturally, without interruptions. And that’s where the real magic of photography happens.

At the beginning of September, I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of a young German couple in the beautiful village of Lari. It was my first time there, and I was immediately charmed by the atmosphere.

As always, I had visited the locations about a month before the event – to scout, plan ahead, and be fully prepared.

Both the castle and the town of Lari had already pleasantly surprised me: so many corners, views, and textures perfect for capturing timeless images.

The ceremony took place in the local church – intimate and full of character. Right after, we moved to the stunning Castello di San Ruffino, the perfect setting for a day filled with light, joy, and genuine emotions.

It was a true celebration, simple and heartfelt, with real smiles and warm hugs.
